DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist based in Barcelona to elevate our clients' brand presence and growth across key social platforms. This role is ideal for a visionary professional who enjoys developing bold strategies, fostering creativity, and delivering meaningful results.
The position requires a hands-on approach, combining creativity with analytical thinking, and sits at the intersection of strategic planning and execution. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for both the strategic vision and the day-to-day management of our social channels, ensuring they become key drivers of brand loyalty, user engagement, and business growth.
You will work closely with our Head of Marketing and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and potential channels including YouTube, Snapchat, and Reddit.

Create and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with product launches and marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversions.

Produce and deliver high-quality, engaging, on-brand content tailored to our target audience.

Manage daily community interactions to strengthen our online presence and foster a vibrant user community.

Coordinate with the marketing team to organize and activate ambassador campaigns that amplify our reach.

Stay informed about platform algorithm changes, emerging features, and industry best practices to keep content relevant and competitive.

Support the organization and promotion of brand collaborations and events to maximize their impact.
Regularly share performance results, key learnings, and creative inspiration with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing and growing social media platforms.

Proven success in driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through social media.

Strong understanding of content performance metrics, platform algorithms, and industry best practices.

Ability to communicate effectively with Gen Z audiences.

Strategic thinker capable of balancing global brand objectives with hands-on execution.

Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to bring creative concepts to life, from the initial idea to the final content.

Fluency in English is a must; additional languages are considered a plus.
