As a CFD Consultant at Arup, you will:
Get involved in CFD simulations for a wide variety of projects, carrying out activities such as:
Lead CFD studies for smoke movement and smoke control system design using FDS.
Support performance-based fire engineering designs through advanced numerical simulations
Carry out tunnel ventilation and smoke dispersion analyses for road, rail, and metro infrastructure projects, using both 3D CFD modelling and 1D simulation tools such as IDA Tunnel and SES.
Conduct smoke management and evacuation-related assessments for stations, transport hubs, and complex buildings.
Coordinate technical delivery with multidisciplinary teams and CFD specialists across Arup offices worldwide.
Mentor and support junior engineers in project execution and technical development.
Contribute to the development of new CFD methodologies, best-practice guidance, digital tools and automated workflows.
