We’re looking for a strategic and transformational leader to drive Logistics Execution across Europe, leading a complex, high-volume operation and shaping the future of supply chain performance at scale.
This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering a best-in-class, customer-centric and digitally enabled end-to-end logistics operation, while accelerating transformation through data, AI, and automation.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead European Logistics Execution, acting as the key connector across Supply Chain, Commercial, Asset Productivity, and Digital teams to deliver superior service at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Oversee logistics operational activity, managing flows and spend to optimize supply chain operations and achieve the lowest cost-to-serve for CHEP.
- Lead the execution of local strategic initiatives aligned with global and regional business strategies, focusing on delivering annual cost reduction initiatives.
- Engage directly with customers to develop and execute collaborative transport solutions that optimize shared flows and deliver value for both customers and CHEP.
- Identify opportunities to integrate logistics solutions within customers' supply chains, enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for logistics, ensuring budgeted transport costs are met through continuous streamlining and optimization of logistics operations.
- Promote and drive a culture of Zero Harm, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and fostering proactive incident prevention.
- Develop talent within the logistics team, providing challenging assignments, mentorship, and clear career development paths to build future leaders.
- Ensure seamless service delivery by managing customer touchpoints such as order fulfilment, delivery, and collections, while implementing action plans to continuously improve service excellence.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
- Define and execute the European Logistics Execution strategy, aligned to the 4-year Supply Chain plan
- Drive end-to-end operational performance, ensuring reliable, cost-effective service delivery at scale
- Accelerate digital and data-driven optimisation, including Control Tower deployment, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled decision making
- Elevate customer experience, improving visibility, communication, and service outcomes
- Act as the E2E operational connector, aligning execution across internal stakeholders and external partners
- Drive efficiency and cost-to-serve improvements, delivering productivity and savings initiatives
- Lead process standardisation and governance across multiple European markets
- Build and develop a large, multicultural team, strengthening future-ready capabilities
