Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our finance team. This role involves processing payments, handling accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in finance or accounting, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Accounts Payable activities, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment management.
- Support Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, recording and monitoring receipts.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions.
- Monitor outstanding balances and support debt collection activities.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to financial queries from families, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Assist with month-end accounting close processes and the preparation of basic financial reports.
- Maintain financial documentation and records.
- Support audit processes.
- Provide support in the use and development of the school’s financial systems, including Business Central and other management platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or procurement.
- Familiarity with Spanish financial regulations and reporting systems (e.g., AEAT, SII).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
