The Work You'll Do
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities within existing client accounts and expanding their use of Sovos compliance solutions. You will develop and execute strategic sales engagement plans, focusing on contract reviews and use case discussions to ensure clients are fully supported in their compliance journey. Your expertise in territory planning and understanding client needs will help shape long-term relationships and deliver impactful solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients, and ensuring their satisfaction through proactive communication and ethical conduct. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enabling organizations to navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.
More specifically, you will:
- Review client contracts to identify opportunities for expanding usage of Sovos compliance products
- Develop and manage a comprehensive sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and customer-centric sales processes
- Grow and maintain a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, achieving business growth and contract execution targets
- Deliver profitable new agreements within current accounts, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue quotas
- Accurately forecast sales performance and manage complex agreements in large enterprises
- Provide detailed and accurate sales data using Salesforce.com
- Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support
What We Need From You
- Minimum 2 years of account management and quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in business-to-business environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas for at least two years
- Experience with SaaS solutions or SaaS environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to grow and retain a book of business while exceeding quota targets
- Strong consultative sales skills, including the ability to listen to customer needs and shape shared visions for long-term relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with procurement, legal, and renewal negotiations
- Commitment to personal development, learning, and self-awareness
