Job Description
OVERALL OBJECTIVES
As a Finance and Project Manager, you will take on a leadership role in the Eurofins finance organisation in Spain. The role includes leading Finance Projects (such as integrating acquired companies), Purchasing, Finance IT, and Payroll, ensuring current and new projects are successfully launched and executed exceptionally well.
POSITION
Lead and manage three departments, including purchasing, payroll and finance IT, contributing to the successful implementation of new projects:

Purchasing/procurement

Develop and implement sourcing strategies in close collaboration with Group Purchasing and the local team.

Ensure Group-wide reporting on purchasing and the exact calculation of savings obtained.

Improve cost savings and price-volume-mix analysis and implement data analytics tools and reports to support business leaders in making strategic decisions.

Launch new projects mainly focused on indirect costs to achieve savings and synergies across the business lines.

Payroll and HR administration
-
Support payroll, HR administration and the implementation of a payroll system, along with the Payroll Manager.

Set up payroll processes from scratch, defining tasks and controls, and designing the task distribution and organisation between the business lines and the service centre.

Finance IT
-
Define and manage all relevant IT projects related to Finance and Purchasing.

Define, implement and ensure the application of optimised and harmonised processes in line with the Group standard for Finance and Purchasing.

Support the integration of new entities and improve the integration process from an IT perspective.

Lunch new IT-related projects with a strong focus on optimisation and automation.

Driving the implementation of standard processes and systems

Actively contibute to and valide the design of standard Group-wide Finance & Purchasing processes.

Drive the implementation of these standard processes, KPIs and controls across the different businesses and functions.

Driving the integration of newly acquired entities, improving the process and reducing integration time
Qualifications
Your profile:
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who is not afraid to stimulate open communication. Driven by the passion to succeed, you should not be afraid to challenge the “status quo”.
You should be a structured, accurate, highly reliable, and decisive leader, as well as a hands-on team player. Additionally, you should have the ability to dive into the right level of detail when needed.
Execution driven, accountability for hitting proposed targets, and people-oriented are some of the skills we are looking for, as well as being able to create a positive work environment and keep the team engaged in an honest and upfront way.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.

Minimum of eight years’ work experience in finance, leading multiple teams, including finance, IT, purchasing and payroll.

Excellent English and Spanish.
