The Junior Marketing Manager will support the execution of marketing initiatives across ADM's Health & Wellness business. This role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional who is highly organized, analytically minded, digitally savvy, and eager to contribute across multiple aspects of marketing execution.
The successful candidate will support trade shows and events, digital marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, customer-facing marketing materials, business analytics, and consumer insights. This individual will work closely with marketing, commercial, scientific affairs, product management, and external agency partners to help drive business growth and customer engagement.
We are especially interested in candidates with strong social media marketing fluency, including hands-on experience with influencer marketing and audience targeting within a B2C and/or B2B context.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Analytics, Business Insights and Customer Engagement (50%)
- Analyze business performance, customer trends, market dynamics, and consumer insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate actionable business recommendations.
- Assist in preparing customer-facing presentations and marketing materials for commercial meetings.
- Engage directly in, and help prepare for, customer meetings including emerging, disruptive customers in social selling, DTC and Ecommerce channels.
- Support competitive intelligence initiatives, including monitoring industry trends, emerging categories, and consumer behavior.
- Utilize market research and syndicated data sources to identify growth opportunities and support portfolio strategy including emerging digital selling channels.
- Partner with commercial and marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and business performance metrics.
Digital Marketing & Media Management (30%)
- Support execution of digital marketing campaigns across web, email, social media, and other digital channels.
- Assist in managing content calendars and coordinating social media activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and help manage relationships with relevant customers/ potential influencers and industry voices to support B2B brand awareness and thought leadership.
- Support audience segmentation and targeting strategies for paid and organic social campaigns aimed at B2B decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to develop and execute digital marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze digital campaign performance, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Leverage AI-powered tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, and other emerging technologies, to enhance marketing efficiency, content development, research, and productivity.
- Support media project management activities, ensuring campaigns and deliverables remain on schedule and aligned with objectives.
Project Management & Marketing Operations (20%)
- Coordinate logistics and execution for trade shows, conferences, customer events, and internal marketing initiatives.
- Manage product sample requests and support fulfillment activities.
- Assist with development and execution of marketing collateral, promotional materials, and event assets.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication among marketing, commercial, product management, and external partners.
- Work cross-functionally and with agility within the disruptor commercial team, adapting quickly to the pace and needs of start-up and emerging-customer engagements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of B2C and/or B2B experience in marketing, digital marketing, business analytics, market research, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, including hands-on experience with influencer marketing and audience targeting for B2B marketing.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Experience supporting B2C and/or B2B marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with the start-up ecosystem and experience working with early-stage, high-growth, or disruptor brands.
- Prior involvement running or supporting influencer marketing campaigns, including sourcing, vetting, and managing influencer or brand-ambassador relationships.
- Familiarity with paid social advertising and targeting tools for B2B audiences (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager) and platform-native analytics.
- Exposure to consumer insights, market research, or business intelligence tools.
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, or analytics platforms.
- Interest in health, wellness, nutrition, food, beverage, or dietary supplement industries.
