We are seeking Applications System Engineers to join our delivery team, providing end-to-end IT Application Services to a major client, an independent intergovernmental organization. In this role, you will primarily focus on providing 3rd level support for applications – mostly packaged, Customer-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions. You will ensure smooth functioning of existing IT systems. This includes addressing bug fixes, implementing minor functional or regulatory changes, and actively participating in software development projects, technical upgrade initiatives, and modernizations within the client's application ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of 3rd applications support, troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Create, maintain, and deploy support procedures within the team to enhance work quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of automation scripts, streamlining repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with project teams on the implementation of major changes, technical upgrades, and new releases.
Gradually develop subject matter expertise in integration products, becoming the team's go-to expert in that area.

Requirements :
- Minimum 7 years of experience in applications support or development roles.
- Solid understanding of incident management process.
- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Because of the broad and diverse technology stack, we are seeking candidates with knowledge of at least one of the following technologies:
- Archibus or other Workplace Management System
- Novell Identity
- BMC Remedy
- IBM Rational DOORS NG
- Lotus Notes
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new concepts, technologies, business functionalities and to actively broaden the skillset. This is absolutely a crucial ability and success factor for this role.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
- Very good command of written and spoken English .
We appreciate:
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or BASH.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with web server applications such as Apache and IIS .
