Position to which it reports
GTF Powerplant Manager
Objective
As a Test Cell Engineer, your mission will be to define, revise and optimize procedures, ensuring efficiency and quality in the testing of GTF powerplant, cooperate closely with all Engineering Disciplines, Operations and PW MRO bringing right solutions in place to support TAT/Cost/Quality.
Main responsibilities
Define, maintain, revise and optimize procedures of test preparation, testing, de-preparation and preparation for engine shipment
Define required process tooling, area consumables and track tooling revisions
Analyse tests performance and abnormalities to identify root cause
Analyse test rejection rates and drive internal corrective actions
Strongly support Test Cell Operations to ensure smooth and failure free procedures, provide process troubleshoot support if required
Prepare dedicated process sheets to support Operations if required
Cooperate with OEM for test concessions
Eduaction
Engineering or technical degree (preferrably Aeronautic))
Languages
Spanish and Fluent english
Experience
Demonstrated professional engineering experience in similar positions
Technical skills
Knowledge of aircraft engine maintenance processes
Ability to interpret and manage OEM technical documentation
Knowledge of quality standards, certification requirements and procedures (Civil and Military)
SAP knowledge
Soft skills
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good problem solving and reasoning abilities
Good ability of planning, organizing and controlling activities
