About the role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Regional Business Analyst to support the growth and profitability of our Aroma Molecules business across the EAME region.
In this role, you will act as a strategic business partner to the Regional VP Sales and the commercial organization, providing market intelligence, demand validation, forecasting insights, and commercial analytics. You will transform complex market and business data into actionable recommendations that support strategic decisions, improve forecast accuracy, and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain regional market intelligence dashboards and analytical tools.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand patterns, competitive activities, and pricing developments.
- Validate commercial demand assumptions across customers, products, and market segments.
- Analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities, risks, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities through data-driven insights.
- Improve forecast accuracy by identifying trends, gaps, and key demand drivers.
- Provide analytical support for S&OP and business planning processes.
- Conduct profitability analyses by customer, product, and market segment.
- Support pricing strategy development and commercial decision-making.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Market Intelligence teams.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting systems, analytics methodologies, and business processes.
- Partner with Regional Business Analysts across other regions to align market intelligence, share best practices, and support the development and execution of global and regional business strategies.
About you
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Business Analytics tools like Power BI, SAP, CRM tools like Salesforce, and other business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning, pricing dynamics, profitability analysis, and market intelligence.
- Experience working with predictive analytics and AI-enabled tools is considered an advantage.
- A background in procurement analytics, spend analysis, sourcing intelligence, or raw material purchasing is highly valued.
- Experience within F&F, preferably ingredients, specialty chemicals aroma molecules, or other raw material-driven industries is considered a strong asset.
- Commercially minded with the ability to connect market trends, customer insights, and financial performance to business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Product Management, and other functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analyses to both technical and commercial audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a high level of intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, integrity, and sound professional judgment.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and matrix-based organization.
