What we look for?
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Java Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector.
Location: Hybrid in Madrid (3x2)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain IT services, including integration with other systems and infrastructure
- Develop solutions on the Java technology stack, with integration of business rule services
- Implement and maintain interfaces using REST web services
- Integrate and develop using the Actico Platform and Visual Rules (Actico Rules)
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including operation and maintenance of IT services
Mandatory requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Java system engineering and development
- Hands-on experience integrating REST web service technologies and using Eclipse for development and debugging
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git), Oracle databases and SQL
- Beneficial: Business Rule Management (modelling, management, and implementation); certifications in Visual Rules / Actico Rules are a plus
- Language skills: fluent English
