Almirall is looking for a Digital Assets Business Process Manager with a strong business and strategic orientation, responsible for shaping and evolving the Digital Assets ecosystem at global and regional level.
Reporting to the Commercial IT Delivery Area Associate Director, this role acts as a key bridge between Business, Technology and external partners, ensuring digital platforms contribute effectively to commercial priorities, regulatory requirements and long-term business goals.
- Acts as System Owner for the assigned digital platforms, ensuring alignment between business priorities, governance needs and platform evolution.
- Partners with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, anticipate future needs and shape digital operating models and solutions that support business growth.
- Maximizes the business value of digital solutions by defining best practices, influencing priorities and ensuring effective adoption across markets and functions.
- Defines how digital platforms and IT capabilities support end-to-end business processes, ensuring coherence across commercial, medical, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Leads cross-functional coordination and decision-making to ensure digital assets are scalable, efficient and fit to support Almirall’s future digital engagement model.
Main tasks & Responsibilities
Operational :
- IT service delivery responsible for Digital Assets including Webs, Apps and systems covering the entire DevOps cycle including monitoring, testing and development management.
- Ensure demand is gathered from the Business Process owners and prioritized accordingly.
- Identify areas of improvement and increase efficiency of implemented processes.
- Determine project requirements by extracting them from business through interaction and research.
- Translate business requirements to technical/functional requirement and organize them into related categories.
- Review, simplify and verify requirements at regular intervals in the project/enhancement lifecycle to safeguard the business and the user’s needs, emphasizing simplicity and ease of use at all time.
- Define, analyze requirements along the project lifecycle to define the right business process.
- Ensure documentation and knowledge transfers to Application maintenance outsourced provider.
- Coordinate and work with development teams to ensure proper understanding and programming of the business requirements.

Communication:

- Provide the development team the technical requirements in line with business objectives.
- Lead business meetings and workshops to align stakeholders, gather priorities, drive decisions and secure agreement across complex cross-functional environments.
- Lead the design and implementation of business processes and digital operating models, ensuring proper integration across functions, platforms and partners.
- Proactive collaboration with required work teams
- Manage external partners and suppliers effectively within an increasingly interconnected ecosystem, ensuring clear accountability, quality delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Business:
- Works with Business Process Owners, key users and senior stakeholders to define and maintain a strategic operating plan for Digital Assets, covering people, processes, tools, governance and technology.
- Acts as a strategic partner to the business, with strong exposure to commercial stakeholders and the ability to influence prioritization, governance and roadmap decisions.
- Leads global initiatives and international programs involving multiple functions, markets and external providers, ensuring alignment and execution consistency.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or closely related discipline.
Experience
- >=5 years of experience in:
- Manage projects having a high impact across the 6 change dimensions (process, organization, location, data, application, technology)
- IT application development, and process design.
- Exposure to Commercial business area.
- Demonstrated experience leading global or international digital initiatives involving multiple business areas, markets and external partners.
- Preferably >= 3 years of experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing cross-functional teams effectively in complex organizational environments.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable digital solutions aligned with commercial objectives and broader business strategy.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical commercial, medical and regulatory processes, and their implications for digital platforms and governance.
Specific Knowledge
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and their contribution to business value, including websites, apps, content platforms and omnichannel engagement models.
- Proven experience in digital content operating models and content management ecosystems, ensuring alignment across content creation, approval workflows, multichannel activation and local market execution.
- Deep understanding of commercial processes and the ability to connect digital capabilities with business priorities and customer engagement needs.
- Strong stakeholder management, prioritization and governance capabilities in complex international environments.
- Experience using Jira Software for demand and project management.
- Agile & Scrum certifications will be a plus.
- Languages: Spanish and English proficiency
- Technical & Functional full stack skills in web and app development and monitoring:
- Knowledge in static webpages: HTML, CSS and JS frameworks.
- Hybrid and native apps and pwa’s knowledge.
- CMS knowledge, preferable Workdpress and Drupal.
- No-code frameworks.
