As a Marketing Video Editor, you'll create video ads for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook that drive app downloads across our portfolio of apps. Your job isn't just editing, it's understanding what makes someone stop scrolling, watch, and click install.
You'll join a team of 5 video editors producing close to 80 videos a week, constantly testing new formats, hooks, and styles using both classic editing tools and AI-powered creative tools.
Execute and produce videos based on ideas aligned with Creative Strategists, both brand-new concepts and iterations or small changes to existing ads.
Create video content using AI, researching and applying best practices to get the best results, and constantly testing new AI technologies.
Constantly test new formats, hooks, and styles to find what performs, using both classic editing tools and AI-powered creative tools.
Proactively propose and test new video ideas without waiting to be briefed.
Challenge briefs by asking sharp questions about the product and users, rather than just executing them.
Academic background:
Technical expertise:
Solid portfolio of social media ads (TikTok/Instagram/Facebook) that have driven real app downloads or performance results.
Strong grasp of what makes short-form video work: hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs, and an understanding of current trends.
Comfortable with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (Seedance, Veo3, Kling, ElevenLabs, NanoBanana, Claude Design and ChatGPT), with real examples of AI-generated creatives you've shipped.
Comfortable working with different editing techniques: greenscreens, screen tracking, motion graphics, etc.
Problem-solving and product focus:
A natural problem-solver with a strong visual sense: you know how to turn a tough brief or a raw idea into an ad that actually looks great and performs.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
Critical eye: able to judge whether a creative will actually perform, not just whether it looks good, and comfortable reading and interpreting ad performance numbers.
Communication:
Good level of spoken and written English and Spanish.
Collaborate and communicate within the video editors team: comfortable asking for and offering help, and quick to adapt to our internal ways of working.
Remote work from anywhere in Spain. If you are based in Barcelona, we would love for you to join us at the office (Barcelona Tech City) at least two days a week.
