We’re looking for a Senior Power Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our Power Electronics team in Barcelona. You’ll take ownership of the hardware at the heart of our bikes and their ecosystem — with an immediate focus on our fast-charger project and future developments like the intercharger, alongside traction inverters, BMS and VCU. The brief is simple and demanding: unprecedented power density and efficiency, in packages that are compact, lightweight, uncomplicated and cost-effective.
Define and develop traction inverters, fast chargers, BMS, and VCU with unprecedented power density and efficiency.
Engineer solutions that are compact, lightweight, uncomplicated, and cost-effective.
Collaborate closely with the Stark Future Engineering and sourcing teams for seamless integration.
Ensure project milestones align with defined timelines and objectives.
Oversee the maturity workflow, establishing validation cycles throughout the development process.
Work with suppliers to incorporate cutting-edge technology components.
Actively contribute to hardware architecture development and design.
Assist in shaping the working methodology for the Power Electronics team.
Mechatronics/Electronics or Electrical Engineering Degree (BS, MS preferred).
Background in developing electric powertrains for vehicles.
Strong leadership experience.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and work independently.
Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
High standards for performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English is essential.
