Position Summary
The Data Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining data systems that support business analysis and reporting. This role focuses on preparing data workflows, improving data processes, and ensuring reliable access to accurate information for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows.
- Prepare and organize data from multiple sources.
- Monitor data quality and resolve data-related issues.
- Support database management and data infrastructure activities.
- Analyse data processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and data records.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams on data projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in data engineering or a similar technical role is preferred.
- Knowledge of databases, data processing, and data management principles.
- Ability to work with data tools and development environments.
- Understanding of data quality and documentation practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
