Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Plant Controller to join our team in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to Finance, the Plant Controller plays a key role in managing the plant’s financial performance, providing insights and analysis to support operational and business decisions. The position also ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations while driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.
- Lead the plant’s financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, profit plans, strategic plans, and performance reporting.
Provide financial guidance to the Plant Manager and leadership team, supporting business decisions, cost control, and operational strategies.
Monitor and analyze financial and operational results, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to improve performance.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory requirements.
Oversee budgeting, product costing, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and financial systems to maintain strong financial controls.
Manage the plant’s internal control environment, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
Evaluate and monitor capital investments, including business case reviews, expenditure tracking, and post-investment audits.
Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvement, productivity, cost-saving initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
- Strong understanding of corporate, regional/divisional, and plant financial reporting policies and processes.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial and operational data.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across the organization.
