Join the Vidya Academy team!
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable English teacher to join our small, independent academy for the 2026–2027 school year, with the possibility of a long-term position.
At Vidya Academy, we believe that learning English should be enjoyable, communicative and personal. Our classes are small (maximum six students), and we focus on building confidence, strong relationships and a positive learning environment.
About the role
You'll teach a variety of classes, which may include:
- Young learners
- Primary school children
- Teenagers
- Adults
- One-to-one private lessons
- Cambridge exam preparation
Most teaching takes place Monday to Thursday in the afternoons, with opportunities for additional hours through private lessons and summer courses.
The timetable is approximately 15–20 teaching hours per week, depending on availability.
We're looking for someone who:
- Speaks English at a native or near-native level.
- Enjoys working with people and helping students learn.
- Is reliable, organised and positive.
- Is willing to learn and develop professionally.
- Feels comfortable teaching children, teenagers or adults (we'll match classes to your strengths whenever possible).
Teaching experience and qualifications are highly valued, but we're also happy to hear from motivated teachers who are eager to learn and grow.
