Position Summary
Cubenergy is seeking an experienced Regional Market Development Manager to accelerate long-term market development across Europe.
This role is responsible for strengthening Cubenergy's market presence, promoting the company's Bankability, developing strategic relationships, expanding the regional business ecosystem, and creating qualified business opportunities.
Unlike a traditional sales role, this position focuses on market development and opportunity creation.
Role Mission
Build Trust Before Selling.
Establish trust, strengthen Cubenergy's Bankability, build a sustainable regional ecosystem, reduce customers' perceived project risks, and enable the Regional Sales Team to focus on successful project execution and contract closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional market development strategies.
- Represent Cubenergy at conferences, summits, forums, workshops, trade shows and media events.
- Build strategic relationships with associations, EPCs, developers, independent engineers, consultants, certification bodies, investors, banks, insurance companies and government stakeholders.
- Promote Cubenergy's Bankability Pack, Delivery Proof, Lifecycle Service capability and project references.
- Conduct first-round meetings with target customers and identify qualified BESS opportunities.
- Transfer qualified opportunities to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Develop regional partnerships and strengthen Cubenergy's local ecosystem.
- Prepare monthly market intelligence reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance and Service teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Energy, Business or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy, BESS, EPC, utilities or engineering consulting.
- Strong local industry network.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and the local language.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
