In 2017, Tikehau opened its Madrid office to accelerate its investment and fundraising activities in Spain and Portugal. The Iberian office counts with 24 professionals, who cover locally investments for Tikehau’s Real Estate, Private Debt, and Private Equity strategies, having performed more than 35 investments to date. In particular, Tikehau has invested +€750m in Private Debt transactions in Iberia through +25 investments, counting with +€400m in +12 successful exits.
Tikehau is looking for an investment analyst intern to join its Madrid office and support the local Private Debt investment team.
The Role
- Support origination activities, including preparing marketing materials and meetings with corporates, advisors, other investment funds, banks, and key stakeholders.
- Analyse and execute new investment opportunities:
- Review transaction materials (teasers, IMs, DD reports, financial models, etc.).
- Analyse targets by evaluating its strategy, sector, financials and business plan, while identifying key investment highlights and risks.
- Support in buy-side due diligence process, while supporting transaction negotiation and execution.
- Prepare investment financial models and internal investment memorandums, as well as attend and participate in the investment committees.

Portfolio monitoring activities:
- Participate in meetings with management teams and asset managers.
- Prepare periodical follow-up reports to investors.
- Contribute to the continuous development of Tikehau’s strategy and activities in Spain and Portugal.
- Work alongside other Tikehau offices and departments.

Profile
- Strong analytic and financial capabilities with proven knowledge of accounting, modelling and other corporate finance related topics.
- Motivated, proactive, result-oriented, team player and eager to thrive and learn in an entrepreneurial and dynamic company.
- Organised and capable of processing and structuring a large amount of information.
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written business English and Spanish is mandatory)
- Previous experience in corporate finance (M&A, Private Equity, advisory or other) is highly recommended
- Holding a degree from a Business School or University
