At Dopp, we are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join the Procurement Department of a leading international group in the food sector.
Reporting to Purchasing Director and integrated within the Procurement team, the selected candidate will be responsible for the management, development, and execution of all procurement and sourcing processes in their area of specialization. This role will work exclusively for the company’s structure in the United States.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supplier management and negotiation.
- Cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Logistics, Marketing, and R&D teams.
- Identification and qualification of new suppliers.
- Execution and follow-up of international tender processes.
- Market and supply trend analysis.
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- 3–4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, pricing analysis, contract management, inventory control, and KPIs.
- Advanced user of Excel and Word. Experience with SAP MM / BW is a plus.
- Fluent in English (minimum C1 level), mandatory for the role.
Other:
- Willingness to travel to the U.S. approximately one week every 3–4 months thereafter.
