We're looking for a Lead Test Data Specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will define test data strategies, design and provision datasets across multiple environments and ensure integrity, compliance and readiness for quality testing activities. You will collaborate with teams across test management, automation and delivery to support efficient software lifecycle processes in a highly regulated environment.
This position provides the opportunity to lead test data operations involving complex financial scenarios, CI/CD integrations and masking automation, ensuring scalable and high-quality testing capabilities.
Responsibilities

Design, extract, transform and provision test datasets for various environments (UAT, TST50, TST60)
- Guarantee referential integrity of test data across interconnected systems
- Develop reusable, synthetic and masked datasets that mirror real-world business scenarios
- Coordinate with test data management teams and environment owners for refresh and population activities
- Automate test data provisioning using SQL, Python, Shell and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Git)
- Maintain a centralized inventory of test datasets with associated metadata
- Act as a point of contact for product owners and testing teams regarding test data needs
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in handling test data
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Test Data Management within financial services or regulated domains
- Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with data masking tools (e.g., Delphix, Informatica) and test data virtualization techniques
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of key test phases such as SIT, UAT and regression testing
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a focus on data quality
- Proficiency in English (B2 or higher) with strong communication skills
