How you'll make an impact
In this role, you'll:

Take ownership of a portfolio of reinsurance clients and manage relationships independently.

Lead client engagements throughout the full placement and renewal cycle.

Understand clients' business objectives, exposures, and strategic priorities to deliver effective reinsurance solutions.

Structure, market, and place Property & Casualty reinsurance programmes.

Coordinate with reinsurers and internal specialists to develop client-focused solutions.

Leverage Gallagher Re's global expertise, analytics, and market capabilities to support client needs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and industry stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and support business growth.

Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurance markets on behalf of clients.

Travel regularly within Spain to meet clients and support business development activities.

Collaborate with international colleagues across Gallagher Re to deliver integrated solutions.
About you
Here's what you'll bring to the role:

Experience working in Property & Casualty reinsurance, either within a broker or reinsurance carrier environment.

Experience independently managing client relationships and reinsurance placements.

A track record of delivering successful outcomes for clients and building long-term relationships.

Knowledge of the Spanish insurance and reinsurance market.

Experience managing renewal processes and client servicing throughout the placement cycle.

The ability to understand client needs and translate them into practical reinsurance solutions.

Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

A proactive and commercial approach to identifying opportunities and driving growth.

Fluency in Spanish and English, Portuguese language skills are beneficial.
