The kdc/one Scented & Living Solutions team in Barcelona (Spain) is currently looking for a:
SALES ANALYST
Our Sales Analyst is a specialist in support in the commercial operation of a large and complex international customer account by ensuring accurate, timely and well-documented pricing, costing, price-list execution and FCR / product-modification intake.
The core contribution is accuracy, process discipline, advanced Excel/SAP data management, customer price-list administration, reliable product-change intake and coordination across internal functions. The role is designed to strengthen business continuity and operational resilience in the commercial team and improve the quality, speed and traceability of commercial execution.
Responsibilities
- Price-list administration and governance: Own recurring customer price-list updates for assigned products, regions or plants. Prepare change summaries, update price files, submit customer versions, track questions and approvals, and maintain full traceability of every version. Does not negotiate or set prices.
- FCR / product-modification intake and new code administration: Receive, log and coordinate customer product-modification requests and related FCR activity. Validate completeness of information for new codes, SKU introductions, configuration changes, packaging changes, material changes and other customer-driven modifications before pricing or internal execution moves forward.
- Costing and price-change management: Update and validate Excel-based costing and pricing models. Translate cost movements into SKU-level price impacts, checking raw materials, packaging, fragrances, labor, overhead, scrap, palletization, FX, indexes, savings and amortizations.
- SAP data extraction and reconciliation: Use SAP to validate material prices, purchase history, stock, open POs, invoices, material codes and implementation timing before applying price changes. Reconcile SAP information with Excel price-list files and internal communications.
- Customer-facing pricing and FCR support: Act as controlled customer-facing contact for price-list submissions, clarification requests, FCR/product-change quote support. Provide factual explanations and escalate sensitive commercial topics to the Business Development Director.
- Savings, amortizations and commercial mechanisms: Track and apply customer-specific savings, amortizations, discounts, price mechanisms and commercial agreements in the price-list files. Support budget/forecast exercises with pricing, codes and amortization inputs.
- Process discipline and continuous improvement: Document recurring processes, approval flows, FCR intake steps, evidence requirements and backup procedures. Identify practical improvements to reduce rework, duplicated checks and repeated customer clarification rounds.
