Are you ready to join a leading global renewable energy company that is making a positive impact on the world?

We are X-ELIO : a Brookfield-owned leader in the renewable sector, that has built over 3 GW of renewable energy projects (solar/BESS) across 13 countries and is developing 13 GW more, and we are looking for you!

Reporting to: Tax Compliance Manager

Based in: Madrid, Spain

What will you do?

Prepare and review VAT consolidation tax returns.

Prepare and review local and autonomic tax returns.

Prepare and review PIT and NRIT tax returns.

Review the tax compliance ( i.e. tax filings) of the jurisdictions in which we operate .

Maintain accurate records and documentation to support tax filings.

Respond to requests from tax authorities.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation for review.

Analyze the tax implications of the incorporation and liquidation of companies in the jurisdictions in which we operate (including formal requirements from a tax point of view).

Collaborate with other departments, e.g., legal, development, …

Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their implications.

Review the quarterly reporting to shareholders of the different jurisdictions in which we operate .

What do we need?

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field ( Master’s or specialized tax degree preferred).

2-3 years of experience in a tax law firm or Big4, with expertise in direct and indirect taxes.

Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, tax consolidation and international tax.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills.

Proficiency in Excel and English (C1 level).
