Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join us and work in a truly global environment. The position will lead the implementation, governance, and ongoing management of the division’s Transactional Net Margin Method (TNMM) transfer pricing model, embedding the framework into daily operational processes, ensuring accurate execution within business systems, and establishing sustainable controls and monitoring procedures.

This role can be located from various our European locations, including Winterthur Madrid, Bremen or Amsterdam.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of the division’s TNMM transfer pricing model across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring consistent and effective operational execution.
- Translate transfer pricing policies into practical operational processes and system requirements, working closely with Finance, Tax, IT and Commercial teams to embed transfer pricing mechanisms into ERP and reporting systems.
- Develop and implement automated solutions for transfer pricing calculations, monitoring and adjustments, reducing manual intervention and improving data quality, consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance against target margins and profitability ranges, identifying deviations and coordinating corrective actions, including periodic true-up and true-down calculations and related accounting entries.
- Establish robust governance, controls, monitoring procedures and audit trails to ensure alignment between transfer pricing policies, financial reporting and operational execution.
- Lead the development of transfer pricing functionality across ERP and Microsoft tools, collaborating with IT teams and external providers to deliver scalable, sustainable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Develop dashboards and management reporting to provide clear visibility of transfer pricing performance, profitability outcomes, adjustments and key areas requiring management attention.
- Act as the central point of contact for operational transfer pricing matters across the Coffee Division, providing guidance and support to local finance teams and ensuring consistent application of the transfer pricing framework.
- Coordinate closely with Group Tax, Divisional Finance, Local Finance, IT and Commercial stakeholders to drive effective implementation, resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution of required actions.
- Communicate transfer pricing impacts, performance and required actions clearly to senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into practical business implications and recommendations.
- Support transfer pricing audits and documentation requirements where necessary, ensuring appropriate data, controls and supporting evidence are maintained across relevant entities and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across transfer pricing processes, systems and controls, identifying opportunities to enhance automation, data governance, reporting quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic and practical transfer pricing expertise across the business, balancing OECD requirements and transfer pricing policy with the realities of finance processes, systems and day-to-day commercial operations.
- Lead cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives, applying strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver sustainable transfer pricing solutions in a complex international environment.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience within a global commodity trading environment, with significant exposure to operational transfer pricing.
- Strong practical expertise in the Transactional Net Margin Method (TNMM), with proven experience implementing and managing TNMM models across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, operational transfer pricing concepts, profitability monitoring, transfer pricing adjustments and policy implementation.
- Proven experience implementing transfer pricing solutions within ERP environments and translating transfer pricing requirements into practical, sustainable system and process solutions.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, management reporting and controlling, with the ability to connect transfer pricing requirements with broader finance and business processes.
- Experience delivering large-scale finance transformation, systems implementation or process improvement projects within a complex international environment.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent would be beneficial, with the ability to develop clear and effective management reporting.
- Strong project management and implementation skills, with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach and the ability to drive initiatives from design through to operational delivery.
- Highly analytical and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to move effectively between strategic transfer pricing concepts and operational execution details.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across Tax, Finance, IT and Commercial functions.
- Comfortable working in a complex, international and matrix organisation, coordinating multiple stakeholders and delivering consistent outcomes across different markets and legal entities.
- Ideal candidates may come from a Big Four transfer pricing practice with significant operational TP implementation experience, an in-house multinational transfer pricing team, or a finance transformation role with a strong transfer pricing specialisation.
