As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing material procurement through strategic negotiations with suppliers, evaluating alternative components, and ensuring efficient execution of procurement processes. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the company, helping us achieve our ambitious goals in the aerospace sector.

Location: Málaga

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to contract issuance and purchase order follow-up.
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, ensuring competitiveness in cost, quality, lead time, and industrial capability.
Negotiate prices, commercial terms, lead times, Incoterms, and framework agreements aligned with the company strategy.
Coordinate with Engineering to manage technical specifications, engineering changes (ECO/ECR), and supplier validation by category.
Collaborate with SQA and Quality teams on supplier approvals, claims, and improvement plans for critical suppliers.
Analyze and monitor purchasing and supplier KPIs (OTD, savings, lead time, quality, risks), driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Manage supply risks, ensuring operational continuity through dual sourcing, contingency planning, and monitoring of strategic suppliers.
Participate in CAPEX processes, industrialization, and new projects, aligning technical and commercial requirements.
Maintain documentation and contractual traceability in ERP/SAP systems and corporate tools.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and applicable quality standards within the supply chain.

Education and Requirements

For this role, you will need:

A degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Business Administration, Logistics, or a similar field. Additional training in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Negotiation is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in industrial purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supplier management in technical environments (aerospace, industrial, defense, manufacturing, or new space).
Advanced level of English.

Technical Skills

Candidates should demonstrate solid knowledge and experience in the following areas:

RFQ/RFP management.
Negotiation, cost analysis, contracts, Incoterms, basic reading of technical drawings/BOM, and industrial processes.
Experience with ERP/SAP systems.
Advanced Excel and purchasing/supplier KPI analysis tools.

Analytical and results-oriented profile, with strong cross-functional coordination and negotiation skills.
