Job summary
This role supports the German VAT recovery process within P2P by ensuring suppliers issue compliant invoices and validating them in line with local tax requirements. You will engage directly with suppliers (calls, meetings, email) in German to resolve invoice issues and improve compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Validate invoices against German VAT requirements

Follow up with suppliers to obtain/correct invoices

Support VAT recovery by collecting documentation and preparing reports

Analyze invoice data and identify non-recoverable VAT cases

Provide visibility on recovery status by supplier

Support team with complex cases and share best practices

Handle audit queries and collaborate with Tax, Legal, and Finance teams
Tools & Skills

SAP and invoice management systems

Advanced Excel / data analysis skills

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Experience in VAT/invoice validation (Germany preferred)

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Fluent German (mandatory)
