The Controller is responsible for supporting the financial integrity of the organization through accurate reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and policies.
This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.
The Business Controller will serve as the primary financial liaison between local manufacturing operations and the Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring seamless coordination and effective execution of key
financial and project management activities. Also ensure seamless coordination and effective execution of key financial processes.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure accurate tracking and management of sales and backlogs
Monitor customer order contract profitability and utilization metrics
Link strategic plans to operational and financial drivers, aligning sales and operations planning, resource management, capital projects, other expenses, and working capital planning.
Generate, model, and execute action plans to address performance gaps and improve overall site performance
Provide business planning, forecasting, and budgeting know how and support to the relevant stakeholders
Supervision and coordination of tasks with the Coe & BPO team.
Variance analysis
Responsible for managing internal reports.
Support to the Head Office on financial matters.
What you need you to succeed:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Controlling
Proven track record in inventory management, cost control, and project management
Experience within the manufacturing sectors is preferred
Strong Knowledge of cost controlling, budgeting, and financial planning
Excellent communication skills to liaise between local operations, BPO and CoE
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Capacity to remain flexible and effective when facing challenges
Continuous improvement mindset
Experience with Tagetik and Qlik Sense is a plus
Understanding of integrated ERP systems is a plus
Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
Used to work with databases and reporting tools
Proficiency in English (C1)
