We are looking for a Senior Manager Client Account Lead (CAL) to join our Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) practice. This role is designed for a senior professional with extensive experience leading strategic client relationships, driving business growth, and orchestrating large-scale technology-enabled transformations across the Telecommunications, Media and Technology industries.
As a Client Account Lead, you will be accountable for the overall success of strategic client accounts, acting as the primary executive relationship owner while driving revenue growth, account strategy, innovation, talent development, and delivery excellence. You will leverage Accenture's end-to-end capabilities across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Data & AI, Cloud, Security, and Industry Solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
The role is based in Madrid under a hybrid working model, combining remote work with office-based collaboration to foster strong connections with colleagues and clients.
Candidates must reside in Spain and hold a valid work permit for Spain.
Functions
- Lead strategic Communications, Media & Technology accounts, defining multi-year account strategies, growth plans, and transformation roadmaps aligned with client business and technology priorities. • Drive revenue expansion by identifying, shaping, and closing complex opportunities involving consulting, technology, cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and managed services capabilities. • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, leading strategic discussions around digital transformation, operating model evolution, platform modernization, AI adoption, and business innovation. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Accenture to ensure delivery excellence, commercial performance, client satisfaction, and long-term account growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and senior business stakeholders within Telecommunications, Media, and Technology organizations. • Develop and execute integrated account plans covering commercial strategy, revenue growth, pipeline development, innovation initiatives, delivery governance, and talent strategy. • Oversee account financial performance, risk management, contractual commitments, profitability, and overall client satisfaction. • Lead complex opportunity shaping, commercial negotiations, and strategic deal pursuits across multiple service offerings. • Mobilize and coordinate specialists from Consulting, Technology, Data & AI, Cloud, Security, Operations, and Industry practices to deliver comprehensive client solutions. • Identify emerging market trends and technology opportunities relevant to the Communications, Media & Technology sector. • Drive innovation by connecting clients with Accenture assets, accelerators, ecosystem partners, and industry-leading technology platforms. • Mentor and develop senior talent, fostering high-performing teams and future leaders within the organization.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in strategic account leadership, business development, technology consulting, or senior client-facing roles. • Minimum 8 years of experience managing executive client relationships and driving commercial growth within large-scale accounts. • Experience leading strategic engagements within Telecommunications, Media, Technology, or closely related industries. • Experience owning revenue targets, pipeline development, account planning, and growth strategies. • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across consulting, technology, operations, and business functions. • English proficiency at C1 level or higher. • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience as a Client Account Lead, Client Partner, Account Executive, Account Director, Managing Consultant, or equivalent leadership role. • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation programs. • Experience in Cloud, Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Platform Modernization, or Enterprise Transformation initiatives. • Experience negotiating and managing high-value commercial agreements. • International experience or management of global client accounts. • Professional certifications related to cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, business transformation, or project/program management.
