Bison is looking for an EU Commercial Developer to join its team in Valencia.
The Commercial Developer will support business growth across the European retail landscape by leveraging data-driven insights, commercial analysis and market intelligence. The role bridges commercial strategy and operational execution, with a strong focus on optimizing the value chain and maximizing retail performance through rigorous Sell-in and Sell-out data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze Sell-in and Sell-out data to identify trends, stock risks and growth opportunities.
- Support sales forecasting based on historical data, seasonal trends and market intelligence.
- Maintain and update commercial dashboards, providing weekly and monthly KPI reports.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the European retail landscape, including major retail chains, competitors and consumer trends.
- Identify potential new retail partners and support commercial proposals and business reviews.
- Support pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness while maintaining healthy margins.
- Support and track brand investments in the market.
- Analyze the end-to-end value chain to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Marketing and Finance to ensure commercial alignment and operational readiness.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Economics or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a commercial, analytical or retail-focused role. Candidates with strong internship experience in data-driven environments may also be considered.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Understanding of the European retail industry and value chain.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Data Modeling.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or ERP systems is a plus.
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present data-driven findings clearly to different stakeholders.
