About the job
As Senior Container Platform Engineer, you will design, automate, and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes-based platforms across campus, datacenter, and hybrid cloud environments. Working with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Security, Network, Platform Engineering, and application teams, you will help improve developer experience, platform reliability, and operational excellence.
Your Role
You will:

Design, build, and maintain enterprise container platforms using Kubernetes and related ecosystem tools.
-
Define standards for cluster architecture, multi-tenancy, workload isolation, upgrades, capacity, and lifecycle management.
-
Implement secure networking, ingress, load balancing, service mesh, DNS, certificate management, and traffic management.
-
Build hybrid connectivity across container platforms, cloud services, and on-premises environments.
-
Apply Kubernetes security controls, including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, image security, policy enforcement, and Zero Trust principles.
-
Automate provisioning and operations using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
-
Develop CI/CD and GitOps practices using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or Flux.
-
Provide Level 3 support for complex incidents, including root cause analysis and problem management.

Manage upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

Create documentation, reusable templates, engineering standards, and operational runbooks.
Your Profile
You bring:
-
Experience in infrastructure, cloud, platform, or systems engineering in an enterprise environment.
-
Hands-on Kubernetes and container platform engineering experience.
-
Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, container runtimes, Helm, and container orchestration.
-
Experience with AKS, EKS, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, or similar platforms.
-
Good understanding of Kubernetes networking, ingress, service discovery, load balancing, network policies, and cluster security.
-
Experience with Azure and AWS cloud services, networking, identity, and hybrid connectivity.
-
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar.

Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have:

Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or Terraform certifications.

Experience with Istio, Linkerd, Crossplane, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, Sysdig, Trivy, Snyk, API gateways, or developer platform tooling.
