Your role
As a Journey Designer, you will create personalized and meaningful guest experiences before, during, and after each stay by anticipating guest needs, curating tailored experiences, and guiding guests through both the Nômade universe and the city of Madrid. Through emotional intelligence, creativity, and attention to detail, you will craft memorable journeys aligned with the brand’s philosophy, lifestyle, and storytelling.
What you will do:
- Conduct personalized intake conversations to understand each guest’s intentions, emotional needs, preferences, and travel motivations
- Design and curate personalized guest experiences integrating wellbeing, gastronomy, culture, rituals, entertainment, and local experiences
- Create tailored itineraries with narrative coherence, balancing timing, rhythm, energy, and emotional flow
- Proactively engage with guests prior to arrival to anticipate expectations and needs
- Maintain warm and consistent communication with guests before, during, and after their stay
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams (Front Desk, Guest Relations, F&B, Wellness, Events, Hosts) to ensure flawless execution of experiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted local partners, venues, facilitators, and premium service providers
- Welcome and host guests during experiences, rituals, cultural programming, and wellbeing activities when required
- Continuously identify opportunities to elevate and differentiate the guest experience
- Monitor guest feedback and adapt journeys in real time according to changing needs or energy
- Maintain detailed guest profiles and personalization notes to strengthen long-term relationships and future stays
- Ensure consistency with Nômade’s philosophy, storytelling, service standards, and brand identity
- Collaborate closely with Guest Relations while maintaining clear operational flow and role ownership
- Support the development and evolution of experiences and programming during pre-opening and operational phases
- Participate in daily briefings, cross-functional communication, and team collaboration
- Perform any additional duties consistent with the role as assigned by Management
Who we’re looking for:
- Naturally intuitive, emotionally intelligent, and guest-oriented personality
- Creative and detail-oriented mindset with passion for storytelling, culture, hospitality, and experience design
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to understand emotions, energy, and unspoken guest needs
- Deep knowledge or lived experience of Madrid’s culture, gastronomy, neighborhoods, and lifestyle scene
- Excellent taste, discernment, and sensitivity to guest preferences
- Calm, warm, and professional presence with strong emotional maturity
- Ability to anticipate needs and think proactively
- Organized and able to manage multiple guest journeys simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with strong operational awareness and follow-through
- Positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented attitude
- Well-presented and aligned with a lifestyle and wellbeing hospitality environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, guest experience, luxury service, wellbeing, travel design, or lifestyle hospitality is highly valued
Experience designing or curating personalized experiences is a strong plus
Strong knowledge of Madrid’s local experiences, cultural scene, and premium service providers
Emotional maturity and excellent communication skills
Fluent Spanish and English required (additional languages are highly valued)
Valid EU / Spain work permit
