The Sales Support Operations Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of sales tasks and processes through meticulous administrative and clerical support. Managing essential office tasks, coordinating sales activities, and providing comprehensive support to the team. This role demonstrates dependability in handling tasks, a caring attitude towards team collaboration, a proactive approach to improving sales processes, and a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and solve challenges, all contributing to the sales success of the company.
The Sales Support Data Entry Agent will be an essential part of a Field Sales Team which will cover the entire U.S. The Agent will collaborate with the Sales and US Air and Ocean Pricing Team to enter data into the quoting tool (HITS) for pricing purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages communication with the Field Sales around spot pricing opportunities being brought on board.
Adapts pricing requests for individual clients. Verifies quantities, pickup/delivery points, commodities and incoterms.
Validates adherence to standards and that data provided is sufficient to price the opportunity. Offers guidance to the Sales Team, discuss possible discrepancies.
Collaborates with US Air and Ocean Pricing Team on regular basis ensuring data quality.
Administers shipment data entry into the pricing tool for quoting purposes.
Addressed any possible problems when transmitting information.
Acts as resource of sales communication for transactional Pricing Desk members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
