Are you passionate about agriculture, data, and real-world results? As a Business Agronomist I, you will play a key role in testing and validating agronomic solutions and turning field insights into value for customers, dealers, and internal teams.
This role combines agronomy expertise with business thinking. You will work closely with dealers, customers, and product teams to support the adoption of innovative solutions and help demonstrate their value in real conditions.

Plan and execute agronomic testing and validation activities for products and solutions.

Analyze field data and identify key trends using business intelligence tools.

Support dealers, customers, and teams by providing agronomic insights and recommendations.

Contribute to reports and data-driven analysis to support decision-making.

Help define and improve processes, procedures, and guidelines aligned with internal standards and regulations.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within your area of work.

Support budget tracking and highlight variances when needed.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including agronomists, advance Engineering, ISG and dealers.

Manage your workflow to meet quality, productivity, and timeline expectations.

Coordinate tasks and suppliers to keep the John Deere Parla Innovation Center experimental fields in excellent condition.

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.

Initial professional experience (typically around 1 year) working with agronomic systems or processes.

Basic experience coordinating or supporting the work of others.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.

Interest in connecting agronomy with business outcomes and customer value.

Plans, coordinates, and performs business agronomy testing and validation work for a hypothesis of moderate scope on agronomic products/projects. Operates in a field/dealer/agronomic supplier environment, providing agronomic testing input to dealers, customers, and/or product development teams. May assign, coordinate and review portions of their work with support personnel (external agronomist, dealer agronomist, external input companies, etc.). Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors or technical experts. Resulting data and conclusions are utilized to inform and educate dealers and internal stakeholders on the value of innovative, agronomic solutions to drive faster adoption and monetization.
- Conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
