The Financial Controlling & Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the company’s financial information through robust financial controls, governance, and reporting processes. This role leads the preparation and analysis of financial results, supports business decision-making through insightful financial analysis, and ensures compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
In addition to technical financial leadership, the role includes people management responsibilities, leading and developing a team of finance professionals while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records, reporting, and disclosures.
- Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Maintain and strengthen financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyze financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics.
- Lead financial consolidation activities and ensure consistency and quality of reported information.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities to enable informed business decisions.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation actions to safeguard business performance.
Business Partnership & Analysis
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze business performance, cost structures, revenue trends, profitability, and investment opportunities.
- Assess the impact of external economic developments and market conditions on business operations and financial results.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and other functions to drive performance and improve financial outcomes.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, standardization, and automation within financial processes.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development planning, and succession planning.
- Coach and mentor team members to build capability, enhance performance, and strengthen talent pipelines.
- Allocate resources and priorities effectively to ensure delivery of team objectives and business commitments.
- Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the team.
Operational Excellence
- Develop and implement departmental plans aligned with the broader Finance strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance controls, reporting quality, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize finance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with business partners to deliver sustainable solutions to complex challenges.
Leadership & Impact

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in financial control, reporting, accounting, audit, or finance business partnering.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Deep understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, financial reporting, and business performance management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a complex, multinational, and matrix environment is preferred.
