The RPM provides strategic leadership and delivery oversight for technology-enabled transformation programs supporting Global Regulatory Affairs, with a particular focus on Generative AI, automation, digital platforms, and operational efficiency initiatives aimed at accelerating submission timelines, improving quality, and enhancing regulatory processes. The RPM acts as the bridge between Regulatory Affairs stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business objectives into technology-enabled solutions and ensuring alignment between business outcomes and technical execution.
The role ensures projects are delivered in alignment with organizational objectives, governance requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. The individual proactively communicates project status, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery milestones to business and technology stakeholders.
The role partners with business leaders, product owners, technical teams, and external vendors to drive portfolio planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, and execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. The RPM provides cross-functional leadership in a matrixed environment, ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions, process improvements, workflow automation, and enterprise platform enhancements.
The role oversees project and program delivery utilizing enterprise project management and work management platforms, examples of similar platforms such as:
- AI tools and software, Wrike, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform
The individual ensures projects are executed in compliance with organizational governance, PMO standards, technology policies, cybersecurity requirements, change management processes, and operational excellence frameworks.
Key Deliverables
- Lead and oversee AI enterprise technology programs, digital transformation initiatives, and process improvement projects.
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and portfolio oversight processes.
- Manage project and program documentation, communications, decisions, actions, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues.
- Develop and maintain integrated project/program plans, schedules, roadmaps, and delivery dashboards.
- Facilitate portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity planning, and resource management activities.
- Provide leadership and coordination across project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives, milestones, and business outcomes.
- Drive proactive identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation of risks and delivery obstacles.
- Drive organisational adoption of new technologies, ensuring stakeholder engagement, capability development, training, and sustainable business process change.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technical leads, architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and execution.
- Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, process optimization initiatives, and operational readiness activities.
- Provide executive-level reporting and portfolio insights through dashboards, governance reviews, and steering committee presentations.
- Support change management, user adoption, training, and business readiness activities for new systems and processes.
- Ensure effective utilization and governance of platforms such as Wrike, Jira, Azure DevOps, and related enterprise delivery tools.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical-related subjects or Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Professional Project Management certification a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, Scrum).
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of project and program management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology or business transformation initiatives.
- Detailed knowledge of: project planning, tracking, resource management, project planning and scheduling tools, and cross-project analyses
- Experience supporting Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Quality, Safety, Medical Affairs, or other regulated healthcare functions preferred. Understanding of regulatory submission processes and associated business challenges.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise project management and work management platforms such as Wrike, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
- Experience managing technology vendors, system implementations, and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution in complex matrix organizations.
- Strong communication, executive presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise technology deployments and digital transformation programs.
- Experience leading implementation and adoption of AI-enabled, data-driven, or digital transformation solutions within complex business environments.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects with significant organizational impact.
- Strong background in enterprise systems, workflow management platforms, agile delivery methodologies, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Proven leadership of geographically dispersed and matrixed teams.
