About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is seeking a passionate Restaurant Sous Chef to join our team. Reporting to the Restaurant Chef, the Sous Chef plays a vital role in ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, maintaining high-quality food production, and preparing for successful service, assisting the Head Chef.
What you will do
Supports the head chef in menu planning, kitchen organization, and operational tasks, such as managing schedules and overseeing food safety practices.
What you bring
Education: Cooking school or culinary institute education required .
Experience: at least 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1-2 years in a
supervisory or leadership role. Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage several demanding tasks in a consistently busy environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, including knowledge of local health regulations.
Strong leadership and management abilities to effectively oversee kitchen staff and coordinate tasks.
