Product Director - Lending & Mobility (Global Auto Domain)
Country: Spain
About the Role
At Openbank, we are transforming our automotive financing capabilities into a modular, scalable platform that can power multiple distribution channels, products, and markets globally.
The Auto Domain is at the heart of this transformation, bringing together global product, technology, and data capabilities to create integrated, end-to-end journeys across the automotive ecosystem, from fragmented local solutions to a unified, API-driven platform that supports loans, leasing, and emerging mobility models across the full automotive ecosystem
As Product Director, Lending & Leasing , you will lead the product strategy and evolution of these capabilities, working across customer and partner needs, commercial priorities, credit and risk requirements, and delivery teams.
We are looking for a product leader with strong domain experience in leasing, mobility finance, or automotive finance, or a product-tech function within one of these environments.
Mission

In this role, you will
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automotive financing capabilities across lending and leasing, with end-to-end accountability for the product development process from concept through delivery, rollout, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Own the evolution of financing products across the end-to-end journey, from simulation and application through decisioning, activation, servicing, and renewals.
- Shape product propositions that balance customer experience, partner requirements, commercial objectives, and risk appetite.
- Work closely with Technology, Design, Data, Risk, Operations, and market teams to translate product priorities into scalable solutions.
- Drive the transition from fragmented local approaches toward more standardised and reusable product capabilities across markets.
- Ensure pricing, underwriting, affordability, eligibility, and compliance requirements are reflected in product design and customer journeys.
- Define what should be standardised globally and what should remain configurable for local market needs.
- Support dealer, OEM, and third-party partner integrations as part of embedded and distributed finance journeys.
- Lead rollout and adoption of new product capabilities across markets, including alignment with local regulatory and operational requirements.
- Use performance data and market feedback to refine priorities, improve journeys, and support commercial outcomes.
- Support the adoption of data- and AI-enabled decisioning capabilities while ensuring transparency, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a senior product leader across the domain, aligning stakeholders around clear priorities, trade-offs, and delivery outcomes.
