We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, supplier communication, and procurement processes within our operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely procurement.
- Track orders and resolve any supply or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with international suppliers and logistics coordination.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.
- Understanding of contract management and vendor performance evaluation.
