At DXC Spain we are looking for a Security Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as L3 technical reference within the SOC and managed security services
Handle and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents (L3 level)
Design, evolve and harden security architectures (on-premise and cloud)
Participate in cybersecurity projects (deployments, migrations, improvements)
Manage and optimize advanced security technologies, including:
EDR/XDR (e.g. SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
SIEM/SOAR (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar)
Firewalls/WAF (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
SASE / SWG / CASB (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
Support service transitions and implementation of new security capabilities
Act as escalation point for L1/L2 teams and provide technical mentorship
Engage with clients (workshops, troubleshooting, reporting)
Contribute to the implementation of security solutions in client environments
Participate in on-call rotations when required
Required Skills
+7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity
Previous experience as: L3 SOC / Senior Security Engineer, or Technical Security Architect / Consultant (hands-on)
Strong hands-on experience across:
Design, implementation and operation of security solutions
Enterprise environments, multi-client setups or MSSP
Solid knowledge in several of the following areas:
Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
SASE / Cloud Security (Netskope, Zscaler, CASB)
Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments
Microsegmentation (e.g. Guardicore)
Infrastructure as Code / automation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities
Customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Proactive, autonomous and team-oriented attitude
English level B2+
