We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our growing team and provide technical assistance to employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot system, application, and connectivity problems in a timely manner.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Monitor IT systems and ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist with software updates, backups, and system maintenance.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex IT issues.
- Support onboarding and setup for new employees.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking basics.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Workspace.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
