Berlitz Spain is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Italian, Spanish, German, French and Chinese instructors to teach at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, expected to begin in September or October 2026, subject to the successful award of this tender.
Classes will be delivered face-to-face on campus and will run from September/October through to June 2028. Learners will include university students, faculty members, and administrative staff.
Teaching schedules may fall within the following time slots:
- Morning shift: 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Afternoon shift: 3:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Please note that instructors may not be required for all hours within these time ranges each day. Full-time positions may be available depending on student demand and the final course schedule.
Afternoon classes are expected to be particularly popular among university students.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching the target language according to the Berlitz Method.
Deliver high quality, learner-centered instruction.
Help students achieve their goals.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere.
Your Profile
Must have either a university degree in philology, C2 level certification (such as a Cambridge CPE, DELE C2, etc) or be a native level speaker
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
Flexible and well prepared
Friendly, sociable and patient
A recognized qualification in target language, such as DITALS, ELE, etc.
Proven experience teaching languages to adults or university students.
Must be available for face-to-face classes at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Must have the right to work in Spain (NIE, social security, etc)
