The selected candidate will lead a team of mechanics and be responsible for carrying out the maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the fleet (trucks, trailers, etc.) with maximum efficiency, as well as analyzing and resolving breakdowns. Among other tasks, they will perform:
- Technical maintenance and repairs of the company fleet
- Management of maintenance records.
- Vehicle inspection (ITV) preparations.
- Garage maintenance and instrumentation.
- On-the-job supervision of mechanics.
- Organize y manage mechanical assistance on the road with selected providers
- Purchasing of parts and compare prices between different providers.
- Administration of Workshop activities (internal & external)
- Validate of invoices (parts, external repairs and tools)
What professional profile are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Intermediate or advanced education in mechanical fields is a plus. Profiles that compensate for a lack of formal education with experience will not be ruled out.
- At least 2 years of experience in similar roles, such as truck or trailer mechanic.
- Residence in Miranda de Ebro or surrounding area.
- A good level of English will be valued, as reporting will be to the parent company located in the Netherlands.
