About the Role:IOL is seeking an engineering-minded UI/UX Product Designer to embed directly within our product development team. Unlike a consumer agency role, your focus will center primarily on the architecture and continuous visual layout design of internal frameworks, complex development tools, and data-dense utility interfaces. You will be responsible for translating system complexities into elegant, structural components using strict modular methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Framework UI Engineering: Design and iterate the presentation layer of internal development frameworks, system dashboards, and specialized technical tools.
- Atomic Design Execution: Build and scale modular, reusable component libraries strictly following Atomic Design principles (atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, pages).
- Developer Collaboration: Embed tightly within the development loop to ensure seamless handoffs, reviewing implementation outputs to verify they match visual specifications perfectly.
- System Usability: Map logical user journeys for technical stakeholders, converting complex configuration tasks into highly accessible, high-efficiency layouts.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:
- Methodological Domain: Deep, practical mastery of Atomic Design methodology and design token structures within Figma or related tools.
- Developer Mindset: Strong conceptual understanding of how design tokens translate to CSS, web components, and dynamic UI layouts (you comfortably speak the language of developers).
- Language Proficiency: Full professional English competency is mandatory to communicate structural layout rules directly inside our product development cycles.
- Portfolio Focus: A professional portfolio demonstrating clean dashboards, data-dense web layouts, internal tooling, or design system management (rather than purely promotional websites).
