The UCAM-SENS unit is recruiting Postdoctoral Researchers
Background
UCAM-SENS is a leading research unit dedicated to the development of cutting-edge chemical sensors, wearable technologies, and microneedle platforms. We are a highly creative and disruptive team looking to push the boundaries of current scientific paradigms.
Main activity: Development of highly disruptive new chemical sensing concepts for sweat/ISF and applied to specific use cases (e.g., sports, health).
Experience with wearable electrochemical sensors // Experience with electrochemical sensors and analytical validation techniques // Experience in data analysis and statistics // Initial data analysis.
To fit in the UCAM-SENS team. The Postdoc must have:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials, Biomedical Devices, or a related field.
- Experience in leading laboratories and Q1 publications are valued.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced research environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- English (B2 level)
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Development of specific sensors for biomolecules.
- Planning and execution of tests with wearables and other in-situ sweat measurements.
- Quality control of developed sensors (ions/biomolecules) and sweat/ISF analysis.
- Normalization and visualization of all acquired variables.
- Development of statistical models to identify correlations between variables.
- Project coordination with multiple partners.
