Overview:
Responsible for the EHS and H&S agendas at the Etxabarri plant and Miñano Head Quarters.

Responsible for developing management system procedures in Occupational Risk and environment, Prevention under ERP/HRG/GEHSMS (Risk Assessment, Training, Planned Inspections, etc.), and for interacting with the Duty Holders of the Engineering, Production, Logistics, and other plant departments.

Follow-up of engineering projects from an EH&S perspective, and supervision of the safe execution of projects, works, and contractors’ work equipment.

Implementation of action plans and corrective measures.

Level I-II auditor of the ERP/HRG management system, which involves audit capabilities at SEBU work centers (English language required).

Responsible for the EHS agenda regarding systems, procedures, and audits.

Responsibilities:

Development of EHS/ERP/HRG/GEHSMS procedures

Occupational & Environmental Risk Prevention training (design of training plans, creation of materials, delivery of training, budget control)

Risk Assessment: Management of the main activities related to Risk Assessment (EHS) (application of technical methods, hiring of external consultants, presentation of results to the company and the Health & Safety Committee, budget control)

Planned inspections

Implementation of action plans and corrective action plans
Management of corrective actions (definition of measures, request for quotations, control of execution by internal resources and contractors, definition of CAPEX)
As a member of the Sustainability Committee:

Drive the System globally to ensure the active participation of all employees.

Participate in defining the proposal for environmental objectives and targets.

Participate in the process of monitoring the System’s objectives and targets.

Qualifications:

Technical Engineering degree or higher

Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention and Environmental Science

A high level of English is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively in that language.

User-level computer skills are required.
Intermediate knowledge of the production lines and the technology used, as well as knowledge and experience in industrial environments.

Strong communication and interaction skills with employees are required.

Impact and influencing ability

Initiative and ability to translate strategy into concrete plans

3 to 5 years of experience performing similar duties in industrial or related environments is required.
