6 month Temporary contract.
Specialist role to manage Master Data Maintenance, as part of the new Master Data maintenance and Internal Pricing Communication process, within the SAP PIRT environment for Iberia.
With the implementation of Quantum (SAP PIRT Iberia), business needs require the creation of a support team for the Sales and Master Data Department. The main responsibility of this role will be the correct management of the process flow for creating and maintaining Master Data objects (Customers), assisting and advising the business when creating or modifying records in SAP, ensuring accurate internal pricing communication within established deadlines to avoid billing issues, and recording promotional plans in SFA so that the team has the correct information (promotional themes, spaces, etc.) for the customers they regularly visit, enabling IBP to accurately estimate demand based on this information: customers and prices.
The criticality of this role lies in the responsibility for accurate data entry into SAP. For example, incorrect customer identification may delay order processing and delivery, or prevent accurate invoicing. Incorrect or late pricing communication leads to billing errors, impacting the workload of other departments, prevents accurate price reading, can affect the company's cash flow due to customer payment delays, and damages the company's image with customers.
Incorrect recording of promotional plans in SFA affects Field's monitoring of compliance with agreed-upon in-store actions with clients and can lead to a deviation in the demand estimated by IBP.
This new role will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the process, connecting users and experts as needed, coordinating the workload, and ensuring SLA compliance.
The importance of this role, and of the Master Data Maintenance management team, lies in the fact that incorrect data in the system or failure to monitor a specific parameter can have a significant impact on different areas and departments, potentially resulting in lost sales, deviations in analyses and estimates critical to the business, and additional workloads.
Responsibilities:
-
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of master data in SAP, internal pricing communication in the new tool, and the recording of agreed-upon promotional plans with customers in SFA.
-
Periodically verify the quality of master data to ensure the continuity of production, distribution, and sales.
-
Prepare, verify, and monitor the data and participants required for creating master data records in SAP.
-
Continuously verify data quality to guarantee service continuity, from customer order processing to invoice collection, through correct data configuration.
-
