MARINE HVAC DESIGN is looking for 3D modeller The successful candidate(s) will be part of a dynamic team working on 3D modelling and detail design of the different systems of the ship.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for 3D modelling and detailed design of ship systems, including HVAC, piping, cable trays, foundations, and related arrangements. The main responsibilities include:
Develop 3D models and support the integration of HVAC, piping, cable trays, foundations, and related systems in air-conditioning rooms, machinery spaces, and accommodation areas using marine 3D design software.
Read, interpret, and apply customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient system integration.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Degree, technical diploma, or vocational qualification in Engineering, CAD Design, Drafting, Naval Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar 3D modelling role.
Good knowledge of HVAC, piping, electrical, and outfitting system integration.
Proficiency in Smart 3D/SP3D, Cadmatic, FORAN, AVEVA Marine/E3D, NX Siemens, ShipConstructor, or equivalent marine 3D design software.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Fluency in written and spoken English will be highly valued.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple concurrent deadlines.
Self-motivated, with the ability to anticipate, identify, and take action on potential issues and problems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Able to work independently while maintaining the high standards of MARINE HVAC DESIGN and KNUD E. HANSEN.
High level of accountability, integrity, and professional ethics.
