Infatica.io is a global provider of proxy and DaaS solutions. We're building our own high-load web scraping platform: an API where you can submit any URL and receive clean HTML or structured JSON output, without worrying about proxies, CAPTCHAs, or anti-bot systems.
The platform will support both cloud deployment and on-premises deployment in client infrastructure (on-prem, Kubernetes).
We are looking for a Head of Architecture & Engineering Delivery to own technical product intake, delivery execution, and full transparency to leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and prioritize new product initiatives: reject, defer, discover, prototype, MVP, or full development.
- Define architecture, ownership, and team structures for new and existing product streams.
- Relieve the CTO by owning new product initiatives (excluding critical infrastructure).
- Conduct technical assessments: cost of ownership, risks, dependencies, build/buy/outsource decisions.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders on discovery and pitching new ideas.
- Manage delivery across in-house, outsourced, and mixed teams.
- Establish company-wide standards: acceptance criteria, code review, production readiness, and task handover.
- Provide full transparency to the CEO and owners on status, risks, dependencies, and real launch costs.
Requirements
Senior engineering background in data-heavy, platform, web automation, scraping, search, AI data tooling or adjacent products.- Hands-on architecture depth: candidate can challenge CTO/tech leads by substance, not only facilitate meetings.
- Experience taking initiatives from discovery/feasibility to MVP/production.
- Experience managing tech leads, small engineering teams or project teams.
- Ability to create technical gates: feasibility, cost, risk, ownership, reuse, build/buy/outsource decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management: able to work peer-to-peer with CTO and owners without political escalation.
- Experience with delivery transparency: decision logs, risk registers, acceptance criteria, dependencies, production readiness.
Nice-to-have
- Proxy / residential proxy / scraper API / web data product experience.
- Browser automation stack: Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, Crawlee or comparable tooling.
- AI Search / RAG / LLM data workflows / MCP-like product logic.
- High-scale data pipelines, observability, SLAs/SLOs and infrastructure cost control.
- Experience building or managing outsourced engineering capacity
