This role is part of the Amazon Business marketing team. Our vision is to establish Amazon Business as the most recognized B2B brand. As Marketing Specialist Lead, you will lead marketing content strategy and execution across EU and worldwide markets, while leading a team supporting verticalized campaigns and specialized marketing programs.
Success in this role demands a unique combination of strategic vision, people leadership, and tactical expertise. We seek a proven leader with demonstrated success in scaling initiatives, developing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable results across multiple countries and regions. The ideal candidate is a strong writer capable of creating and guiding foundational marketing content designed to increase engagement with prospects and customers across the various stages of the buyer's journey. This role will partner with EU and WW marketing teams to identify and deliver actionable ways to increase adoption of solutions by various customer segments via multiple channels.
This position requires someone who earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about customer challenges, and aligns messaging accordingly — while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will bring exceptional people management abilities, budget management expertise, strategic marketing content leadership, and a data-driven approach. Most importantly, we need someone with a verified track record of delivering consistent, measurable results through both team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of marketers who deliver marketing campaigns and specialized content across SEO/AEO, marketing content site, in-person events, customer stories, third-party articles, and long-form content such as whitepapers and e-guides.
Manage marketing budgets for EU, optimizing resource allocation and vendor relationships to maximize ROI across programs.
Own and scale the customer references program across EU and WW markets, developing scalable processes for identifying customer advocates, coordinating case study development, and maintaining a pipeline of reference-ready customers.
Work closely with the global Central Marketing team to ensure EU efforts are aligned with broader content strategies and objectives, serving as the primary connector between regional execution and global vision.
Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication to stakeholders to ensure clarity on content activities, status, goals, and results — including regular business reviews with performance metrics and KPIs.
Coach and develop team members, set clear expectations, provide feedback, and create growth opportunities to build a high-performing marketing function.
Partner with EU and WW marketing teams to identify and deliver actionable ways to increase adoption of solutions by various customer segments via multiple channels.

- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven track record of developing and managing high-performing marketing teams
- Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets across multiple programs or markets
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create and guide high-quality marketing content
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Background in B2B marketing and content strategy
- Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Demonstrated success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing and content tools
- Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization
- Experience collaborating with Field and Growth teams to create and deploy content through strategic marketing motions, showing ownership of content activation and campaign coordination
